Browns defeat Texans, 36-22

With rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud on the sideline, the Cleveland Browns door to victory against the Houston Texans was wide open. With quarterback Joe Flacco at the helm, they Browns didn’t ‘Brown it up,’ as Flacco aired it out for 368 yards on 27-of-42 passing for three touchdowns and two interceptions. Flacco’s prime target was wide receiver Amari Cooper, who finished with 265 yards and two touchdowns on 11 catches, which approached franchise and NFL record territory.

Former Ravens outside linebacker Za’Darius Smith also got involved, sacking Davis Mills twice in the contest. The Browns are doing everything in their power to be in the dance, and possibly win the AFC North. However, they must win out and the Ravens must drop two games, which is unlikely, but possible when considering the last opponents on their respective seasons.

Jets defeat Commanders, 30-28

They’re all but dead, but not buried as the one of the biggest clown-shows in the NFL finishes their regular season somehow still took it to the Commanders in a game featuring Jacoby Brissett and Trevor Siemian. Originally, Sam Howell was on the field but he went a... wow, am I reading this right? He went 6-for-22 for 56 yards passing and two interceptions. Yikes.

The Beatdown crew are all taking the favored Browns tonight.
