In the third quarter of the Ravens vs. Jacksonville Jaguars game, running back Keaton Mitchell suffered what appeared to be a significant knee injury at the end of the play. Mitchell went to the ground holding his leg in pain and was carried off the field before being carted to the locker room.

Quickly thereafter, the Baltimore Ravens have ruled out Mitchell from the game.

If this was the last game of Mitchell’s rookie season, he’ll finish with 396 yards on 47 carries, good for 8.4 yards per carry.

This article will update as more news filters in. It’s most likely Head Coach John Harbaugh will be asked about Mitchell in the post-game press conference. When reports are clear, this article will update.

Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh announced Mitchell’s knee injury is believed to be season-ending.

As such, the Ravens will bring up veteran running back Melvin Gordon III, who has been on the practice squad all season.
