Last Week

49ers lose to Cleveland Browns

In a bizarre turn of events, the Browns defeated the previously unstoppable 49ers due to their impressive defense, 19-17. Quarterback Brock Purdy turned into a pumpkin for once, going 12-27 for 125 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Christian McCaffrey was finally contained, rushing for 43 yards on 11 carries and dealing with an injury. However, he’s reportedly expected to play tonight. Someway, somehow, the Browns offense got it done, largely due to the leg of Browns kicker Dustin Hopkins who has been brilliant the past few weeks.

Vikings defeat Chicago Bears

The Vikings, with an absent Justin Jefferson, managed to make due and defeat the lowly Bears. They did do so against backup quarterback Tyson Bagent, who was last playing Division II football before stepping onto the field after Bears quarterback Justin Fields exited due to a hand injury.

Picks

No surprise here as the entire staff are taking the 49ers this week. It’s worth noting everybody hit on their lone-wolf picks this week.
