The Ravens have struggled to stay healthy during training camp and the preseason but the Ravens welcomed back wide receiver Sammy Watkins and tight end Nick Boyle to the practice field.
Boyle had been activated off the Player Unable to Perform list on Tuesday and was on the field performing light reps today. Watkins, who has been dealing with a calf injury since August 16, returns with just under two weeks before the season opener against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Along with Watkins and Boyle is Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, who returned to practice on Tuesday.
These returns allow for the quarterback Lamar Jackson to refine his chemistry with his receivers, which is critical after the infrequency of working on the practice field together. Jackson missed the first 10 days of practice due to testing positive for COVID-19 a second time, and Hollywood suffered an injury after the first day of training camp. Watkins has not practiced in over two weeks, also.
