Ravens training camp 2021: Post-Practice Day 2

Another beautiful day in Owings Mills

Practice has wrapped and here are the notes for today’s performances.

Player of the Practice

James Proche II

An excellent performance produced by Proche including multiple touchdown receptions. One was a diving catch in the endzone. Today, he looked like one of the most improved players for the Ravens from last season.

Player Notes

Chris Westry | Defensive back

The first interception in training camp comes from Westry. He also notched a pass break-up later in the day. Good way to stay on the teams’ radar.

Tyler Huntley | Quarterback

It was all Huntley today. While Trace McSorley made some adept throws and plays, Huntley was playing confident and making strikes. Multiple touchdowns and a few completions in tight windows.

Bradley Bozeman | Center

Not a bad snap was produced in practice. It’s important to note this after yesterday’s struggles with snapping the ball.

Sammy Watkins | Wide receiver

Excellent plays from Watkins today. He battled against Jimmy Smith through most of the morning. Against Nigel Warrior, he caught an over-the-shoulder

Ben Powers | Offensive Line

Took some first-team reps today after Phillips was the starter at left guard yesterday.

Day 2 of training camp begins for the Baltimore Ravens and the competition at quarterback will be fierce. With the backup spot up-for-grabs, there couldn’t be a more opportune time for Tyler Huntley and Trace McSorley to duel against one another. I plan to see what these two offer in today’s practice, among other things.
