The Ravens are signing wide receiver Devin Gray to a one-year deal, pending a physical.
Gray has spent the first three seasons of his NFL career on and off the practice squad for the Falcons after going undrafted out of Cincinnati in 2018 and has yet to register a stat in the regular season. Gray most recently played in the Spring League. During his two-year career with the Bearcats, Grey caught 86 passes for 1,304 receiving yards to go with eight receiving touchdowns.
Gray joins an already crowded competition at the wide receiver position for Baltimore. 2019 first-round pick Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, free-agent acquisition Sammy Watkins, and rookie first-round pick Rashod Bateman headline the group, while 2020 third-round pick Devin Duvernay and rookie fourth-round pick Tylan Wallace appear as virtual locks to make the final roster behind them. 2019 third-round pick Miles Boykin and 2020 sixth-round pick James Proche will likely battle it out for the final roster spot at the position.
Gray is a massive long shot to make the final roster with the current crop of receivers the Ravens have to choose from.
