NFL Draft order released; Ravens with only two picks in the top 100

Baltimore will need to trade up if they are after playmakers; otherwise, it’s depth targets

The NFL released the full 2021 NFL Draft order today and with it comes the full list of Baltimore Ravens picks.

As it stands, the Ravens possess only two selections in the top 100. Though they’re more than capable of hitting on those two picks, with one of each in the first two rounds, it still is worrisome as Baltimore needs more playmakers and productive starters than they do depth. With little action thus far in free agency, only re-signing three players and landing one free agent, there are still holes on the roster. Holes that are tough to expect be filled by late-round talent.

With so few picks in the top 100, there is a glimmer of hope for many that the Ravens will trade up in the NFL Draft to land a more highly-rated prospect. There’s also the potential for the Ravens to still trade Orlando Brown Jr. and end up with a top-tier draft pick and maybe another starter. Nonetheless, Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta is quite fond of trading in the NFL Draft, too. Maybe that’s what ends up occurring, but we won’t know until it’s finalized.
