Mark Ingram II signs deal with the Houston Texans

The veteran back has found a new team

The former Baltimore Ravens running back has found a new home as it’s been reported Mark Ingram II has signed a deal with the Houston Texans.

Back in January, the Baltimore Ravens officially cut ties with beloved veteran running back, Mark Ingram II. Fans were understanding of the cut, as the younger tailbacks, both mentored by Ingram, had established themselves as the future of the franchise. Ingram understood, also, and gave the organization and fans a message of gratitude.

Ingram will likely be the No. 2 back on the depth chart, as David Johnson took a paycut to stick with the Texans earlier this month. Hopefully, this leads to Ingram producing more with limited snaps.

Ingram is rather familiar with the Houston Texans stadium, seeing as his longest rush of 2020 (30 yards) was against the Texans on a 4th & 1. The run also was capped off by a karate-kicking celebration on the Texans logo. Maybe he’ll have to answer for that in his first presser. . .
