According to a report from CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora, the Ravens are receiving interest from “multiple teams” for Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown Jr.
Hearing multiple teams interested in Ravens Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown, who has permission to seek a trade. Based on level of interest, good chance a trade that makes sense for all parties comes together. Brown has strong relationship w/Ravens, who would want value for him.— Jason La Canfora (@JasonLaCanfora) February 9, 2021
There’s no surprise Zeus Jr. is receiving interest. He’s developed into an NFL-caliber blocker and is more than capable of becoming a franchise cornerstone for any franchise needing a blindside blocker. All that’s left now is the compensation for the Pro Bowl lineman.
It’s tough to judge what exactly the Ravens will receive, but knowing Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta, the expectation should be high. After all, this is the GM who landed both Marcus Peters and Calais Campbell for fifth-round draft picks.
Either way, this only further solidifies Zeus Jr. will be playing left tackle elsewhere and Baltimore will need serious offensive line help heading into 2021. As of now, only two positions along the Ravens’ line feel secure with Ronnie Stanley returning to play left tackle and Bradley Bozeman at left guard. With Brown Jr. out at right tackle and moving on, expect the team to address this all throughout the offseason.
