For the second-straight week, the Baltimore Ravens (4-1) play host to their opponent. Today, the Los Angeles Chargers (4-1) come to town after traveling across the country. The early quarter will decide if that had any impact in the Chargers getting out the gate.
The Ravens have announced their inactives list and today hold a full list of names.

The biggest absences who played last week are wide receiver Sammy Watkins and defensive tackle Broderick Washington. Watkins’ receiving ability may be missed in this game and the Chargers’ defense will enjoy one less threat on the field as they look to bottle up tight end Mark Andrews and wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown.
The second being Broderick Washington, and that’s due to his decisive play against the Indianapolis Colts last week, as defensive end Calais Campbell said it was Washington who spotted a way to create room for a field goal block during a film session. It came to pass, as Campbell blocked his eighth career field goal, which in turn kept the Ravens within reach for their eventual comeback victory.
With veteran running back Le’Veon Bell activated to the 53-man roster yesterday, it was only a matter of time until running back Ty’Son Williams would be healthy scratched. It’s interesting, seeing the decisions unfold regarding the running back room. However, I assume this has to do with pass-blocking scenarios as the Chargers boast one of the best edge rushers in the NFL with Joey Bosa.
