In what is being billed as a potential preview of the AFC Championship, Week 3 of the 2020 NFL Season closes out with the 2-0 Ravens hosting the 2-0 Chiefs on Monday Night Football. The staff of Baltimore Beatdown gives their bold predictions for the highly-anticipated showdown.

Frank Platko:

In his biggest game yet as a starter, DeShon Elliott is challenged early and often by the Chiefs’ offense and proves up to the challenge — nabbing his first career interception off of Patrick Mahomes. Elliott also records a sack and tackle for loss in what proves to be a career-best night for the young defensive back.

Spencer Schultz:

Devin Duvernay has his coming out party. Baltimore’s running backs rack up 175 yards and two touchdowns in an offensive explosion. The Ravens survive a late comeback and thwart the Chiefs to win a one-score game.

Dustin Cox:

Marcus Peters greets his original team with a pick-six early in the game, establishing the tone for a stifling defensive performance from Baltimore against Kansas City’s juggernaut offense. Offensively, Lamar Jackson shows off for the national audience with four touchdown passes and over 350 total yards.

Kyle Barber:

Ravens in primetime flash to an early lead, akin to the many blowouts Baltimore has delivered over the past couple years. Under the lights, Marquise Brown shines on a jet-sweep touchdown early and follows up with a long touchdown before the half. On defense, Marlon Humphrey forces two takeaways, with at least one being an interception. All things look to be in the Ravens favor. However, in a game of cliche’s, Mahomes and company come storming back from a long Tyreek Hill touchdown and a second drive heavily featuring TE Travis Kelce. In the end, Justin Tucker adds just enough points to keep the Chiefs at bay and slay the proverbial dragon.
