Calais Campbell is no stranger to the NFL Top 100 players list and today he finds himself placed No. 79. That means the Baltimore Ravens traded a fifth-round pick for a top 100 NFL player. Praise be to Eric DeCosta.

Though he experienced a bit of a fall in the NFL Top 100 this year, it’s a bit justified as he didn’t perform to his usually overtly dominant statistics. Nonetheless, he’s still top-tier.
Happy to have you on our team now, @CalaisCampbell

Once again, he was acquired by a fifth-round pick.
Baltimore’s defense will quickly appreciate this man’s play which in the video is described as a player capable of playing three gaps due to his enormous size and strength. Even more to realize is Campbell is now paired with Matt Judon, Derek Wolfe and Brandon Williams. Opposing teams will be lucky to protect their quarterbacks and running backs as, eventually, one or more of them will get through.
