The Baltimore Ravens have waived defensive end Michael Onuoha. The move was announced via the team's official Twitter account:
We have waived DE Michael Onuoha.

Onuoha fractured his wrist in the preseason opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars last season. He did not make the final roster, but he was signed to the practice squad in November and eventually became one of nine players to sign a reserve/future contract with the Ravens in January.
The NFL and the NFLPA agreed to reducing rosters to 80 players for training camp.
In a call with players today, NFLPA leadership said roster sizes are expected to be 80 to start camp, source said. Not a surprise, GMs are working under this assumption.

Waiving Onuoha brings Baltimore’s roster total down to 88 players, so they are still expected to cut eight additional players before the August 16th roster deadline.
