J.K. Dobbins is Madden 21's highest-rated rookie running back

J.K. Dobbins is the highest-rated rookie running back in Madden 21 with a 75 overall rating.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs at the end of the first round, and D'Andre Swift of the Detroit Lions are tied for second at 74 overall. Jonathan Taylor is a 73 overall.

Madden has released rookie ratings for quarterbacks, wide receivers, and running backs, thus far. Dobbins is currently tied for the third-highest rating among all rookies. Joe Burrow and Henry Ruggs III lead the pack; both players have ratings of 76 overall.

Dobbins was an excellent value pick with the 55th pick. It is baffling that he was the fifth running back selected. In 2019, he ran for 2,003 yards and 21 touchdowns for the Buckeyes.

He adds another dynamic weapon to Baltimore's record-setting rushing offense and will join a loaded backfield that includes Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards, and Justice Hill.
