The undersized safety with less-than-desirable athleticism has tremendous football I.Q. He demonstrated great anticipation when on the field. Although Iowa is known for producing high-quality secondary talent, the Ravens already have their two starters in Chuck Clark and Earl Thomas III. Stone will compete with DeShon Elliot for the backup safety spot.
Expect the Ravens to utilize Stone in special teams this season. His football intelligence will only benefit a perennially formidable special teams unit.
