Ravens pick RB J.K. Dobbins

Welcome to the Baltimore Ravens!

NCAA Football: College Football Playoff Semifinal-Ohio State vs Clemson Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

The Ravens have their second player of the 2020 NFL Draft! At pick No. 55, they select Ohio State RB J.K. Dobbins.

With the 55th pick in the NFL Draft, the Ravens take the productive running back from Ohio State. Dobbins is an absolute battering ram when the ball is in his hands. In addition to being a force between the tackles, Dobbins also has soft hands and nimbleness in the open field. He fits the run-first philosophy of the Ravens’ offense and will be a great complement to the power of Mark Ingram and Gus Edwards. This three-headed monster will absolutely wear down defenses.

This pick makes a lot of sense for the Ravens because Mark Ingram’s age showed towards the end of last season where he was unable have an impact in the games that mattered most. Having a fresh stable of running backs of the same skillset will allow for constant fresh legs on the field. Be excited Ravens fans!
