The Baltimore Ravens were expected to be an active franchise during free agency but the moves made today clearly signal their confidence to push for a Super Bowl. After a big trade yesterday for Calais Campbell, the Ravens land free agent defensive tackle Michael Brockers.
The #Ravens have agreed to a deal with DL Michael Brockers, his agent @ScottCasterline. That is one strong defensive line.

This is an excellent signing for the Ravens as Brockers graded out at an 82.6 in run defense and posted an overall rating of 74.6 in 2019, per Pro Football Focus.
Earlier this month, Baltimore Beatdown Editor Frank J. Platko posted a free agent profile on Brockers and hit the nail on the head.
Brockers is a tested veteran with years of experience on what has been one of the NFL’s best defensive fronts over the past several seasons. Although he’s approaching the age of 30, he still projects to have several more years of high-level play under his belt.”
Undoubtedly, this move further demonstrates the Ravens wanting to turn their loss against the Tennessee Titans in the 2019 Divisional Round into a game of the past. Eric DeCosta watched as RB Derrick Henry steamrolled the Ravens’ front seven and is doing everything possible to remedy the situation through free agency.
