Once again this season, the Baltimore Beatdown staff is picking the winners for each week’s slate of contests throughout the year. Results will be tracked throughout the year to see who is most accurate with their predictions.

The staff was in agreement on the following matchups in Week 13:
- Dolphins > Bengals (MIA -11.5)
- Vikings > Jaguars (MIN -9.5)
- Raiders > Jets (LVR -8)

- Packers > Eagles (GB -8)
- Chiefs > Broncos (KC -14)
- Ravens > Cowboys (BAL -7.5)
Coming off a 20-3 win over the Jets, the Dolphins face another favorable matchup against an undermanned Bengals team. Miami could use a win their playoff hopes, and all of our writers envision them getting it. Speaking of the Jets, they’re once again on the wrong side of this category — as nobody sees them upsetting them the Raiders this Sunday.
The team with the next worst record in the NFL behind New York is the Jaguars, who are nearly a double-digit underdog against the Vikings. Minnesota is looking to start another win streak after defeating the Panthers by one point in dramatic fashion last week. The other New York squad, the Giants, are 10-point underdogs on the road in Seattle. Our writers were in unison with picking both the Vikings and Seahawks to win.
Same goes for the Packers, who are favored by more than a touchdown against a reeling Eagles team. Philadelphia has lost three games in a row. The Broncos will actually be fielding a quarterback under center this week, but unfortunately they’re tasked with playing the Chiefs on SNF. Kansas City defeated Denver by a score of 43-16 earlier this season.
Last but not least is the Ravens vs. Cowboys matchup on Tuesday Night. Baltimore has lost three games in a row themselves but are set to activate a handful of players off of the reserve/COVID-19 list for this game, including QB Lamar Jackson. The BB staff likes the Ravens to get back on track this week as 7,5-point favorites against Dallas.
Lone Wolf Selections —
The following writers were alone with these picks in Week 13:
- Peter is picking the Browns to defeat the Titans (TEN -5.5)
- Vasilis likes the 49ers to upset the Bills (SF PK)
A smaller number of lone wolf picks this week, with Peter and Vasilis being the only two writers represented.
Peter is by himself in taking the Browns to beat the Titans. This matchup features the No. 1 and No. 3 ranked rushing offenses in the NFL, so a close contest is certainly within the cards. However, only Peter sees Cleveland coming out on top.
Vasilis, a frequent appearance in the lone wolf selection, has the 49ers toppling the Bills on Monday night. This line has dropped down to a PK, indicating an incredibly even tilt between these two teams. You wouldn’t know it by looking at our staff’s picks, though, as the Bills were the predicted winner by everyone but Vasilis.
