Ravens vs. Steelers final: Winners and Losers

Throw it on a dime

The game was never truly put away but the game result was unsurprising. By games end, the Pittsburgh Steelers (11-0) win it over the Baltimore Ravens (6-5) with a final of 14-19.

Winners

Trace McSorley — THE ANTHEM. The legend. A 70-yard touchdown pass to Marquise Brown! How fun it was to have him on the field.

Marquise Brown — After a struggling season, it’s great to see him make a play. For both himself and for the team. That’s what we like to see.

Tyus Bowser — His second interception on the season and came in the redzone.

Devontae Harris — A critical forced fumble which allowed for the Ravens first touchdown and an early lead. Then, came up with a great pass breakup in the redzone. He could get more of a look as things move on and the Ravens landed, at minimum, a solid short-term pickup.

Marlon Humphrey — Seven tackles and another two forced fumbles. He now leads the NFL in forced fumbles. Humphrey still has yet to allow a touchdown in coverage. All-Pro Marlo.

Sam Koch — A bit of a punting clinic today as he had one punt muffed and three total inside the 20-yard line.

Losers*

*= This title does not mean these players are losers. They played a poor game. It happens to the best players and should be taken lightly.

Robert Griffin III — Two turnovers, three sacks taken and a 28.5 QB Rating. Think he’s done in Baltimore after his contract ends following the 2020 season.

Patrick Queen — Pretty sure he was taken out of the game and replaced by Chris Board for coverage ability. That is far from ideal.

Luke Willson — A rough game in which he had a near-touchdown grab. A bit of it was Steelers DB Minkah Fitzpatrick with a good enough recovery to contest the catch but those are the little differences in the game with significant changes in the result.

Baltimore Ravens — The ref show is completely out of hand and they’ve penalized Baltimore something fierce. Every week it’s been something new.
