Ravens vs. Browns final: 2 MVPs, 7 Winners & 2 Losers

AN INSTANT CLASSIC

An instant classic.

Before us was the 2020 game of the year.

The Baltimore Ravens (8-5) leave FirstEnergy Stadium (and horrible field) with a 47-42 victory over the Cleveland Browns (9-4).

Co-MVP: Justin Tucker

He’s the best kicker in NFL history. He has every bit of clutch gene one could ever ask for. He has the strongest leg with pinpoint accuracy to match.

Co-MVP: Lamar Jackson

An absolutely magnificent game by the reigning MVP. Unbelievable. He returns to the field a hero after suffering from cramps which sidelined him for two Ravens’ offensive drives. His first snap in his return turned into a 44-yard passing touchdown to Marquise Brown. As if that wasn’t enough, he returned with a lone minute on the scoreboard to get Tucker in range for the game-winning field goal.

Winners

Tyus Bowser: Third-straight game with an interception. He’s been flirting with this kind of play throughout his career and he came through yet again tonight. Nothing like a Ravens outside linebacker in a contract year.

Gus Edwards: A two-touchdown affair with 49 yards on the ground. The bus doesn’t stop.

J.K. Dobbins: The bonafide starting tailback for the Ravens gained 53 yards on 13 carries and notched a touchdown as well.

Mark Andrews: He hauled in the big plays in the final minute and was brilliant when needed.

Marquise Brown: Good lord, what a redemption reception by Brown. After three ugly dropped passes, this man hauls in the 44-yard go-ahead touchdown from Jackson. Third-straight game with a touchdown.

Sam Koch, Morgan Cox: That game-winning kick never gets done without the work from these two.

Losers

Trace McSorley: The Cleveland field may have torn up his knee and I sure hope he’s alright.

Defense: Just going to blanket statement this tonight. The Browns scored 42 points and at no point did this defense look capable of stopping them.
