Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Adds for Week 15

NFL: New Orleans Saints at Philadelphia Eagles Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Jalen Hurts (QB, Philadelphia Eagles)

ESPN ownership: 8.2%

Week 14 stats: 167 passing yards, 1 touchdown; 18 carries, 106 rushing yards

The key stat is 18 carries. In fact, Hurts actually led Sunday’s game in carries. Hurts’ rushing ability gives him a lot of upside. He is a great streaming option for the fantasy playoffs. His Week 16 matchup against the Cowboys, in particular, is tantalizing.

Lynn Bowden Jr. (RB, WR, Miami Dolphins)

ESPN ownership; 0.5%

Week 14 stats: 1 carry, 2 rushing yards; 7 receptions, 82 receiving yards

Bowden quietly saw his role in Miami’s offense expand last week. He played a season-high 31 offensive snaps and had four receptions for 41 yards. He continued to build his rapport with Tua Tagovailoa this week. The Dolphins are dealing with a number of injuries on offense. Running backs Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed missed Sunday’s game, while pass-catchers DeVante Parker, Jakeem Grant, and Mike Gesicki all exited Sunday’s game due to injuries. We should get updates on all the statuses of those players throughout the week, but Bowden seems primed to be a strong PPR flex option next week.

Keke Coutee (WR, Houston Texans)

ESPN ownership: 30.7%

Week 14 stats: 3 receptions, 24 receiving yards, 1 touchdown

After recording 141 receiving yards against the Colts last week, Coutee cooled off against the Bears. Still, he was able to salvage the performance by scoring a touchdown. Due to the absence of many Texans’ wide receivers, Coutee still holds too much upside to ignore. In addition, he will face the Colts, who he already had a career game against, next week. I would not be discouraged by his slight decline on Sunday.
