Ravens Twitter has been abuzz about a potential move to bolster this team’s Super Bowl chances as we move closer to the trade deadline and further into the season. It would appear that Eric DeCosta has made his move, or moves, as it were.

Thursday morning saw the announcement of what figure to be two key transactions for the Ravens as they enter the bye week. That would be the trade for Minnesota pass rusher Yannick Ngakoue for a third rounder in 2020 and a conditional fifth in 2021, and the signing of longtime Baltimore target Dez Bryant to the practice squad.

Both moves are fairly significant for different reasons, and signal that Baltimore isn’t messing around when it comes to strengthening the roster. Of course we always knew that, but it’s nice to see Eric DeCosta confirm he’s got his eye on the ball.

Here to breakdown this news for you guys is Baltimore Beatdown blogger and podcaster Jake Louque, who’s foray into the mustache game may or may not have brought about these moves.
