Ravens vs. Dolphins: Bold predictions

NFL: Preseason-Green Bay Packers at Baltimore Ravens Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

Week 1 of the NFL season is finally upon us. The Baltimore Ravens will take the field against the Miami Dolphins to begin their season. Despite an overflowing amount of excitement regarding the 2019 Ravens, there is also quite a deal of uncertainty. All eyes will be on second-year quarterback Lamar Jackson and his development after helping Baltimore win the AFC North last year as a rookie.

The staff of Baltimore Beatdown has made several bold predictions for the Ravens first game against the Dolphins.

Spencer Schultz

Hollywood Brown is embraced by a Broward County cheering section in Hard Rock Stadium after scoring on a screen pass from Lamar Jackson.

Taylor Ciotola

Peanut Onwausor records a sack, tackle for loss and forces a fumble slowly becoming the next great middle linebacker for Baltimore.

Adrian Charchalis

Matt Judon will put together a very promising performance by recording two sacks and a TFL. The absence of former starting LG/LT and the now Houston Texan, Laremy Tunsil will be evident as Judon and the Ravens pass rush will give Ryan Fitzpatrick a very difficult time to get things going in all facets of the game.

Eric Misotti

The Ravens defense will force 4 INTs with 2 of them going to Earl Thomas earning him AFC defensive player of the week honors.

Dustin Cox

Lamar Jackson will throw for three touchdowns and rush for another. Jackson will silence some doubters early on with some impressive throws against Miami. Jackson and the offense will roll for a big day and give Baltimore a comfortable double-digit win.
