Ravens vs. Chiefs: Bold Predictions

NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The 2-0 Baltimore Ravens will face their first true test of the season this week at the notoriously loud Arrowhead Stadium when they face the Kansas City Chiefs. The Ravens fell just short of pulling off the upset against the Chiefs last season when MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes made the throw of his career on 4th & 9, heaving a bomb to WR Tyreek Hill to help send the game to overtime. Both teams are different now, but it is once again expected to be an incredible matchup between two of the most exciting young quarterbacks in the league.

The staff of Baltimore Beatdown put together their bold predictions for Sunday’s game.

Spencer Schultz

The Ravens end the Chiefs NFL record streak of consecutive games scoring 25 points, Willie Snead and Miles Boykin combine to catch over 10 passes for 100 yards to set Justin Tucker in place to kick a game winning field goal late in the fourth quarter.

Taylor Ciotola

Kenny Young has his best game in a Ravens uniform recording a sack and a game sealing interception. Young successfully disrupts the Mahomes-Kelce connection and leads them to remain undefeated.

Eric Misotti

Sunday will be the “Florida State Game” of Lamar Jackson’s young career as he goes into Arrowhead Stadium and delivers a performance we won’t soon forget , cementing himself into super-stardom status. He will lead the Ravens to victory on the road, in a hostile environment similar to when he knocked off #3 Florida State in their building as a sophomore at Louisville.

Vasilis Lericos

Miles Boykin breaks out against KC with 80+ yards and two touchdowns. On defense, Anthony Averett secures his first career interception.

Dustin Cox

Lamar Jackson continues his terrific start to the season when he throws for over 300 yards and three touchdowns and knocks off the vaunted Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. Jackson will continue to silence any remaining doubters.
