The pick is in!

After months of waiting and three hours of draft day grind, the Baltimore Ravens have picked Marquise Brown with the 25th overall pick.

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is a great prospect for the Ravens. He’s drawing enormous comparisons to Desean Jackson and sophomore quarterback Lamar Jackson needs somebody like this to open up the field. With such a run-heavy attack, it’s great to find somebody who can be a home run hitter.

There are worries of Brown as he’s currently dealing with a Lisfranc fracture, something the Ravens know all to well with Jimmy Smith. That being said, Eric DeCosta, team doctors and the franchise wouldn’t sign off on Brown if they weren’t confident he would heal up to 100%.

This pick shows DeCosta was serious when he stated they needed to take more swings on receivers. Brown is blazing fast; he’s somebody who could truly open up the offense. He can beat press coverage and is a threat to score on any given down. I like the pick and I like the value here.

A quick reminder for everybody, the first round featured the Ravens landing Marquise Brown, an extra fourth-round and sixth-round pick. Eric DeCosta’s first NFL draft is appears to be playing out according to plan

How would you grade the Ravens pick of Marquise Brown at 25?
