Crazy ass AFC North offseason predictions

Despite it being way too early, here are my AFC North offseason predictions:

Cincinnati Bengals

Desperate for everything but a few offensive pieces, they are now the garbage heap of the division. With the introduction of a new HC, Dalton's time is ticking down. Record setting speedster, John Ross is being shopped. They could do anything this offseason and it's likely an improvement. But their big splash will be the free agent signing of former Giants Safety, Landon Collins. They also sneak in the signing of CB Bradley Roby. First round choice will be Bama OT Jonah Williams. Quite possibly the start of a few years in 4th place....in the division.

Cleveland Browns

Cleveland could very well be on their to taking over the AFC North and staying there a while unless the Browns become the Browns. But they appear to be on the right course with what looks like a franchise QB in place with solid pieces all around him and money to spend. Signing Jarvis Landry last year was their splash signing. This year their splash will involve Jarvis' BFF, Odell Beckham. Cleveland will trade this year's first, another pick and Antonio Calloway to New York for OBJ. As a Ravens fan, I just threw up a little. The Browns are now in ALL IN mode with star QB on rookie deal.

Pittsburgh Steelers

They will be unable to trade Antonio Brown and he will be back next year continuing to blow up the Steelers locker room. The distraction will be magnified next training camp IF he shows up. Pittsburgh will sign Safety Lamarcus Joyner and CB Kareem Jackson. In the first round of the draft, they will take TE Hockenson. Pittsburghs turmoil will result in them being in bottom half of division next season. Man, that felt good to type.

Baltimore Ravens

Despite overpaying for CJ Mosely, they are able to bring Sizzle back on a team friendly retirement deal. However, they will lose Za'Darius Smith to a big deal. The Ravens will flirt with the notion of signing RB Tevin Coleman but ultimately price will drive them away. They will have to settle for first round draft choice Bama RB Josh Jacobs. With the highest contract given to a slot CB, something will likely have to give in the secondary. Despite never missing a game, Brandon Carr has played his last for the Ravens. All that said, the move that owns the Ravens headlines is that they have traded for WR Julio Jones from Atlanta. Just like Cleveland, Baltimore will be in WIN NOW mode with star QB on rookie contract and with Julio and Atlanta already having contractual issues last year with no fix for this year, they may prefer to move him. And another Bama player to boot.

One can dream. Go Ravens!!!
