Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Adds for Week 14

NFL: Miami Dolphins at Cleveland Browns Scott R. Galvin-USA TODAY Sports

Raheem Mostert (RB, San Francisco 49ers)

ESPN ownership: 14.1%

Week 13 stats: 19 carries, 147 rushing yards, 1 touchdown; 2 receptions, 8 receiving yards

Raheem Mostert had a big game against the Ravens. He was only 11 scrimmage yards short from matching Jimmy Garoppolo's yardage total. Matt Breida, the team's usual starting running back, should return next Sunday, but Mostert has played too well to not be on the field. He is averaging 5.9 yards per carry, which is 1st among running backs this season. Look for Mostert to split carries with Breida. Still, I would not be surprised if he took over the lead back role soon.

Anthony Miller (WR, Chicago Bears)

ESPN ownership: 10.3%

Week 13 stats: 9 receptions, 140 yards

Anthony Miller had a slow start to his career after being drafted in the 2nd round of the 2018 NFL Draft. However, Miller is starting to finally breakout. He has seen an uptick in targets in recent weeks culminating in 13 targets on Sunday.

Miller's talent was evident coming out of Memphis. Maybe, in the second half of his sophomore season, he is finally putting it all together. Miller is a regular starter in Chicago, and due to his talent and rise in targets, he is worth rostering in deeper leagues.

Mike Gesicki (TE, Miami Dolphins)

ESPN ownership: 10.3%

Week 13 stats: 5 receptions, 79 yards, 1 touchdown

Mike Gesicki did not score his 1st touchdown until last week against the Browns, which is troubling for a tight end. Well, Gesicki scored a touchdown again this week. Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Dolphins passing offense were exceptional on Sunday against the Eagles. Fitzpatrick has now topped 300 yards in 2 out of the past 3 games, and the Dolphins do not have many reliable pass catchers outside of DeVante Parker. With the Jets, Giants, and Bengals next up on the schedule, Gesicki is an intriguing option if you need a tight end.
