After linebacker Terrell Suggs was cut by the Arizona Cardinals last week, many expected the Ravens to somehow figure a way out for a reunion. That reunion has been placed on hold due to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Former #AZCardinals pass-rusher Terrell Suggs was claimed by the #Chiefs, source said.

As if the Ravens needed any more fuel for their rage against the only team that has beaten Baltimore twice, this could certainly do it.
Now, this does make sense for the Kansas City Chiefs as Alex Okafor recently suffered a torn pec injury and Suggs would bolster their defensive pass rush. Also, it stops the Ravens from their reunion with their former Defensive Player of the Year. Which, unfortunatley, makes sense.
The Chiefs adding Terrell Suggs either boosts their pass rush or at the very least prevents the Ravens’ pass rush from getting even stronger. Smart business by KC.

Now, the big question is whether or not Suggs reports to Kansas City or not. Will he avoid joining the Chiefs in hopes of another release? Could he report in hopes of winning a championship with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs? This is an interesting landing spot.
