Poll: Terrell Suggs waiver claim ends at 4:00 p.m. ET; what are you hoping for?

Could he really fall to 32?

Today has lasted a bit longer today for Ravens fans. There’s a possible reunion with former linebacker Terrell Suggs and we won’t find out anything until 4:00 p.m. ET. With all the discussion on Baltimore Beatdown and comment sections everywhere, I figured a quick poll before 4:00 p.m. ET could show where the fanbase lies right now.

The two arguments I’ve seen against include Suggs somehow ruining team chemistry with his, “ego,” and that he didn’t help produce such a successful season, so why should he be able to return now?

I’m surprised by the ego comments. He’s a character, yes, but he’s never been one to be titled, “locker room cancer.” He’s a veteran who has helped lead the Ravens for over a decade. He loved being a Raven. He dedicated his career to the city. I don’t understand where this supposed ego came from.

I can semi-understand the second argument. The Ravens were forced to move on and they picked a young pass rusher in the 2019 draft to address his eventual absence. Jaylon Ferguson and Tyus Bowser are now making plays and to bring back Suggs could insult the two but even still, this is Terrell Suggs. The man with the ninth-most sacks in NFL history.
