Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Adds After Week 10

NFL: Los Angeles Chargers at Oakland Raiders Darren Yamashita-USA TODAY Sports

Derek Carr (QB, Oakland Raiders)

ESPN ownership: 36.7%

Week 10 stats: 218 passing yards, 1 touchdown

If you are looking for a starting quarterback for the next few weeks, Derek Carr is a fantastic option. The Oakland Raiders will face the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday, who just got lit up by the Ravens for 49 points. That matchup is followed by a game against the 2-7 New York Jets.

Carr has only been the 17th ranked fantasy quarterback in standard scoring this season, but here is every defense he has faced through Week 10: Broncos, Chiefs, Vikings, Colts, Bears, Packers, Texans, Lions, and Chargers. The Lions are the only bottom 10 team in opponent points per game on that list, while four of those defenses were in the top 10. Two prime matchups make Carr a solidified starting option for the next two weeks.

Brian Hill (RB, Atlanta Falcons)

ESPN ownership: 0.3%

Week 10 stats: 20 carries, 61 rushing yards; 1 reception, 10 receiving yards, 1 touchdown

Devonta Freeman exited Sunday's game with an ankle injury and never returned. With Ito Smth on the IR, Brian Hill became the workhorse back in Freeman's absence. He only averaged 3.1 yards per carry, but he still put up a solid statline out of sheer volume. If Freeman remains out, Hill's value will remain high.

Josh Gordon (WR, Seattle Seahawks)

ESPN ownership: 56.3%

Week 10 stats: TBD

Josh Gordon has been a major fantasy disappointment this season scoring only 1 touchdown and failing to post a 100 yard game with the Patriots. Now in Seattle, Gordon has a chance to turn things around. Russell Wilson wanted to get Gordon on the Seahawks, and he will reportedly play a “significant role” Monday night.

Gordon is still an extremely talented player and is worth stashing on your bench.
