After a flawless performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers this past Sunday, Ravens’ kicker Justin Tucker has been named Special Teams Player of the Week for the AFC. For Tucker, this represents the 10th time he’s earned such honors.

Tucker connected on all four his field goal attempts and both his extra points, but it was the timing of his plays that made the performance noteworthy. In a high-stakes divisional showdown in maybe the hardest stadium for kickers in all of the NFL, Heinz Field, Tucker nailed a 48-yarder to tie the game late in the fourth quarter.
Then, after Marlon Humphrey’s forced fumble midway through overtime, Tucker trotted back onto the field and connected on a 46-yard try to win the game - a kick that appeared to be wide left before pushing through the uprights at the last minute.
Tucker, the most accurate kicker in NFL history, has developed a reputation for being clutch, and Week 5 was yet another example of this. When the stakes are highest, Tucker is about as reliable as they come in the league.
