For the second consecutive time, Ravens’ kicker Justin Tucker has been named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week. Tucker now has eleven of these honors to his name, but this is the first time he’s earned the title in back-to-back weeks.

Tucker did not hit a game-tying or game-winning field goal this past Sunday like he did against the Steelers, but it was still a near-perfect performance. The veteran kicker was responsible for 11 of the team’s 23 points and maintained his 100% success rate on the season - both for field goals and extra points.

One of Tucker’s attempts actually hit the inside of the goal post and bounced through the uprights. When you’re as good as Tucker is, though, you can afford a scare every once in awhile.

For the season, Tucker has now connected on all 13 of his field goal attempts and is 17/17 on extra points. Five of his field goal makes have come between 40-49 yards away. He’ll look to add to these totals in Seattle this week.
