Following last week’s overtime victory over the Steelers, the Ravens did have a number of injury concerns heading into today’s game. The Ravens will be without key starters on both the offense and defense. Here are the Ravens inactives:
Ravens inactives: QB Trace McSorley, WR Marquise Brown (ankle), OL Ben Powers, DT Daylon Mack, ILB Patrick Onwuasor (ankle), CB Jimmy Smith (knee), CB Anthony Averett.

The most notable absences are those of Marquise Brown and Patrick Onwuasor. Earlier in the week, both players were expected to be game-time decisions after not participating in practice all week. However, earlier this morning, both players were unexpected to play.
The absence of Brown prompted the activation of WR Jaleel Scott for his first career regular season game. The Ravens’ receivers will need to step up today and compensate for Brown’s inactive status. Additionally, Kenny Young, who was inactive last week because of poor recent play, will be suiting up today and should see a fair share of snaps. Pass rushers Jaylon Ferguson and Jihad Ward, who was signed this past week, will both be active.
The Bengals also have many notable absences. Multiple star players and a few starters will not be active today. Here are the Bengals’ inactives:
Carl Lawson expected to start in place of Carlos Dunlap on the edge.

A.J. Green is still nursing an ankle injury while Carlos Dunlap, who is one of the NFL’s premier pass rushers, will also be sitting out with a knee injury. Starting tackles Cordy Glenn and Andre Smith will also not suit up. The Ravens defense should look to take advantage of what will look like a weaker Bengals offensive line.
