After six weeks the preseason comes to a finale. This game is important for many Ravens attempting to earn a roster spot. Earlier this week, the Ravens knew they couldn’t keep everyone, therefore they traded former second-round pick Kamalei Correa, even after his incredible game against the Chicago Bears in the Hall of Fame Game.
This game is the last opportunity for many players to make an impression for their coaches, be it for a job in Baltimore or a positive reference for them elsewhere.
To the fans, this game feels somewhat boring with four games preceding this exhibition. The thirst for football has been quenched, but now comes the hunger for meaningful, record-altering games. While the final preseason game comes off fatigued from an exciting training camp, this is the last chance for many players on the field, and for that reason, it is still worth watching.
