Where were you when Ravens WR Anquan Boldin mocked the Patriots in the 2012 AFC Championship?

It’s 2012 and the Baltimore Ravens are doing the impossible. After being down at halftime on the road against the New England Patriots, they’ve come back and lead by a single point at the start of the fourth. But, one play into the final quarter, Anquan Boldin lengthens the lead with a touchdown and caps it by mocking Devin McCourty for thinking he could tackle him.

Every NFL fan outside of Baltimore was expecting the Tom Brady-led Patriots to win this game. They were leading at half-time, and the Ravens were ‘lucky’ against both the Indianapolis Colts and the Denver Broncos. Baltimore shocked the world after Jacoby Jones hauled in the bewildering touchdown pass over Rahim Moore and Justin Tucker kicked a game-winning field goal in double overtime in the rocky mountain tundra. But Joe Flacco, Ray Lewis and the franchise wasn’t done. They showed up, scored touchdowns and Boldin laughed at the notion of being stopped in the end-zone.

After this play and after what occurred against Peyton Manning the week prior, no Ravens fan believed this team could be stopped. They were the team of destiny and the trophy was going to be theirs.

The Patriots didn’t score another point that night but Anquan Boldin caught another touchdown from Joe four minutes later.

Where were you?
