After a rough Week 2 outing against the Bengals which saw the Ravens’ offense struggle to get anything going until extremely late, Baltimore will be looking to turn things around in Week 3 home game against Denver. The Cincinnati matchup saw the usually stoic Andy Dalton running around the field like a glory days version of Johnny Manziel, so one question heading into this contest is whether the defense will be able to contain the relatively mobile Case Keenum.
Another question is whether or not the anemic showing by the offensive unit is something to be concerned about moving forward. Joe Flacco has been sitting firmly on the hot seat ever since the Ravens made Lamar Jackson his successor back in April.
Flacco will need to be better in 2018 if he’s going to ward off Jackson for the entire season, so a turnaround effort will be needed today, and he knows it. Against Denver’s ferocious defense however, anything can happen.
