The Ravens first pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, TE Hayden Hurst, has ‘agreed to terms’ on a contract with the franchise.

When Hurst signs, the Ravens will officially have their full 2018 draft class locked up.
This move feels slightly under the radar as the Ravens second selection in the first round, Lamar Jackson, has stolen the headlines.
Last time Hurst was in the headlines, reports came from Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com stating Hayden was ‘Ahead of the curve.’
“He has great hands and consistently gets separation with his speed,” Jamison Hensley wrote. “If Hurst keeps up this pace, he’ll make an immediate impact in Baltimore’s passing game.”
Now, for the next four seasons, with a fifth-year option (presumed), the Ravens secure a tight end to compliment the offense. This is great news for Joe Flacco, who often utilizes his tight ends in the Marty Mornhinweg offense. Soon enough, ‘Thor’ will be catching passes and moving the chains for Charm City.
