NFL Draft results: Ravens select C Bradley Bozeman

NCAA Football: CFP National Championship Game-Alabama vs Georgia Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

This draft has been absolutely filled with double ups, and this pick is no different. For the second time today, the Baltimore Ravens have picked an Alabama prospect. Welcome to the flock, Bradley Bozeman.

Double ups in the draft:

Bradley is a good value pick, here at the end of the sixth-round. The Ravens need a new center after the departure of starting center, Ryan Jensen. I don’t expect Bozeman to instantly step into the role, certainly with the development of Matt Skura’s game into the next level, but a year in the fold of Joe D’Alessandris and the Ravens’ coaching may help push him into a depth player or more.

NFL.com overview

Bozeman comes from a winning program where work ethic and toughness are hardly optional and he faced NFL-level competition in practice every day. His size is a big check mark in his favor, but he will be very limited by his lack of athletic ability. Bozeman’s ceiling may be as low-level starter, but he has to find the right team.

Sidenote: Bozeman is the man behind the proposal after Alabama won the College Football Playoffs!
