Ravens NFL Draft ammo increases after trading down twice on Day 1 & 2

NFL: Combine Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

The final draft of Ozzie Newsome’s career as General Manager of the Baltimore Ravens is closing in, but not until he masterfully maneuvers his way into Day 3 with a full arsenal of picks at his disposal.

As of now, the Ravens hold seven(!) picks on Day 3, with three fourth-round picks and two sixth-round selections.

This gives Ozzie & Eric DeCosta the opportunity to take a sizable quantity of players or make big moves up in the draft for a player they’ve been staring at for the past couple days. Obviously, by days I mean months and months of scouting.

Many Baltimore Beatdown staff members believe they’re planning to make a trade, but that’s not a hot take due to Ozzie trading five times in the past three rounds. Also not surprising with good names still on the board. We also know the Ravens in the fourth round can find serious value.

Fourth-round picks:

  • Tavon Young
  • Chris Moore
  • Willie Henry
  • Alex Lewis
  • Za’Darius Smith
  • Javorius Allen
  • Brent Urban
  • Kyle Juszczyk
  • Dennis Pitta
  • Le’Ron McClain

The Ravens are certainly prepared to make a serious push, if they want. If they don’t, they have targets in their site for seven more roster additions.

Tomorrow’s going to get crazy. I promise you, stick with Baltimore Beatdown for the madness!
