The Los Angeles Rams are expected to move on from wide receiver Tavon Austin.
Rams will either trade or release WR Tavon Austin before the start of the league year, source says. He’s due $8m, so his time with the team is done.

Austin had a massive decline in production during the 2017 season with the Rams. With new additions Sammy Watkins, Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods, Austin took a backseat in the Rams’ offense. He only recorded 13 receptions for 47 yards and zero touchdowns.
Austin has never hit 1,000 receiving yards in a season. In his five year career with the Rams, he has only amassed 1,689 receiving yards, but also has 1,238 rushing yards. He has served as a hybrid type of player for the Rams on offense as well as returning kicks.
As per usual, Ravens safety Tony Jefferson has already begun the recruitment process.

Austin is a Baltimore native. I’m sure he would love the opportunity to play for his home town team. Is he worth taking a chance on though? Jefferson seems to think so.
