POLL: Which of the top five wide receivers in free agency would you want on the Ravens?

The Ravens need a wide receiver. They currently cannot groom or develop one, therefore the franchise must look towards free agency.

SB Nation recently updated their Top 100 NFL Free Agents List, and why not have a look at the possibilities?

  • Jarvis Landry (6)

This originally was every Ravens fans hope, and also Ravens’ players, a la Tony Jefferson & Eric Weddle. Unfortunately, though, the Ravens never had a shot as the Miami Dolphins utilized the franchise tag to secure another season with the wide receiver.

  • Allen Robinson (15)

A season ago, I’d be 100% for the move. But the ACL injury isn’t easily something to overcome. The Ravens are consistently a franchise suffering from a litany of injuries, and I’m uncertain whether I’d like a player who is still rehabbing from knee surgery.

  • Sammy Watkins (18)

Many expected Sammy to receive the tag, but the Rams have been too busy committing grand larceny, after the details of their ‘trade’ for Marcus Peters. Sammy is a talented player, but also known for his injury issues. He’s received groin surgery and also received screws in his foot. I still believe, though, if he wanted to become a Raven, I’d be all for it.

  • Paul Richardson (40)

This isn’t a bad move. In fact, I may like the idea of Paul Richardson more than any of the other names thus far. He will come at a cheaper price, and also is an interesting player to compliment the Ravens style. Baltimore is far too often throwing short ‘dink-and-dunk’ passes. Now, they could have a bigger target, for a good value.

  • Josh Gordon (51)

What I would give for Josh Gordon being on the team is one thing, but for Ozzie, he possesses the actual power.

As of now, Josh Gordon is an exclusive-rights free agent. Just like Ravens running back Alex Collins, the team has his rights, and will therefore control his destination. They’ll most likely tender him with something large, as they should, and I don’t suspect the Ravens will hand over a first-round pick for the wide receiver. Though it would be great to have Flash Gordon in purple and black.

As for you, the Beatdown community, who are you interested in the Ravens picking up?
