It’s not a secret, how Ravens safety Tony Jefferson feels about Miami Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry. He’s responded to several tweets from Landry for the past few weeks, dating back to Super Bowl LII. We’ve covered it a couple times, here at Baltimore Beatdown:
- Tony Jefferson and Jimmy’s Seafood are preparing a sales pitch for Jarvis Landry
- Ravens safeties Eric Weddle & Tony Jefferson are in recruitment mode
But now, the Miami Dolphins have squandered most Ravens fans’ hopes, as they’ve used the franchise tag on Landry, ponying up $14 million on a guaranteed one-year deal.
But one Raven in particular is not done; Tony Jefferson already posted on twitter with his response:
welp ya never know - can’ still be traded .. let’s not throw in the towel just yet .. lol Jarvis is a beast.

He is right, the Ravens can trade for Landry, as the Ravens attempted last offseason, but never could lock-in a deal with Miami. At this point though, the cap hit is rather steep, and I’m certain Ozzie’s already looking elsewhere.
