Ravens are the heavy favorites, but that means nothing

Bovada has the Baltimore Ravens as six-point favorites. BetDSI has the Ravens with a 75% chance to make the playoffs.

This, though, means nothing.

As Tavon Young spoke to Garrett Downing of Baltimoreravens.com, Young stated the Browns aren’t letting the Ravens waltz into the post-season without a fight.

“We’re prepared for anything they got,” Young said. “We know that they [have] trick plays. We know that they’re trying to end our season.”

Favorites or not, this game is yet another week of a postseason atmosphere. The tough matchup on both offense and defense is real and Cleveland is ready to complete the 2018 campaign with a win and an official winning season of 8-7-1. The last time the Browns finished with a record above .500 was 2007, in which they finished at 10-6. This, to them, is their closest playoff game in 16 years and they most certainly will play like it.

So even with Baltimore being heralded as the AFC North champions, it’s not going to happen unless they go out on Sunday and take it. No need to rely on the Cincinnati Bengals winning their final game if the Ravens take care of business at home.
