Though the Buccaneers put up a fight in the downpour on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, the Lamar Jackson-led squad won 20-12 and are deep within the playoff hunt. After switching to Jackson, the team is 4-1, but the confidence in the fans reads more like 3-2.

The confidence stumbled after an overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, which is fair, but the Ravens left with a win on Sunday and the fans are less confident in the future than they are right now?
It could be due to run-heavy scheme or the squad not handling business against the upper echelon teams, but it’s surprising to see a lack of confidence when your team is well within the playoffs.
Some questioned the victory as a sign of weakness. I read comments on Baltimore Beatdown’s social media claiming this victory was, ‘a pathetic display of playing down to the level of a horrible team.’
I strongly disagree, obviously, but I’m still surprised to see so many fans being critical of whoever is playing. Last I checked, this team has always been about wins and losses, regardless of how flashy or dominant they come.
