Ravens vs. Steelers game status: Baltimore playing without both starting tackles

NFL: Baltimore Ravens-Training Camp Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

The Ravens have released the injury report and the official game status for the upcoming game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and, well, it’s not good.

Officially, both LT Ronnie Stanley and RT James Hurst will miss the contest against their heated rival.

This will be the third-straight absence for Hurst as he’s dealt with a back injury. In the six games Hurst has played, he’s performed greater than many fans expectations. He was heralded as a great guard and bad tackle, but he’s wiped away these notions in 2018.

This will be the first absence for Stanley in 2018. Many were hoping he could play as he returned to the game against the Panthers after being rolled up on midway through the third quarter.

With both players out, speculation is Jermaine Eluemunor receiving the nod for his first start at right tackle and Orlando Brown Jr. starting once again at right tackle.

Also missing the game is sophomore linebacker Tim Williams. This will be his second missed game of 2018, after not playing in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns.

The Ravens are not looking healthy and solid as a unit right now. They’ve dropped two-straight games and now face a rivalry matchup without their two starting tackles. It’s going to take great strength in this adversity to overcome on Sunday.
