Bold Predictions: Ravens vs. Panthers

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens Patrick McDermott-USA TODAY Sports

The Ravens travel to Carolina for part two of their tough three-game stretch. Below are bold predictions for how the matchup with the Panthers will play out for Baltimore.

  • Justin Tucker will record two field goals from 45+ yards.

After a gut wrenching missed extra point at the end of last week’s loss, Tucker will prove why he is still one of the Baltimore’s favorite players and reassert his dominance at the position. In a tight road contest, Tucker will prove valuable, bringing in six points on long range attempts.

  • Mark Andrews will score his third career touchdown.

The Oklahoma rookie was targeted just once in Week 7, catching an eight-yard pass for a touchdown. On the year, Andrews is averaging 11.6 yards per reception, and the physically imposing tight end should grow his stat line today.

  • Michael Crabtree will eclipse 100 receiving yards.

The veteran receiver has averaged 75 yards over his last three games and will have a prime matchup against slumping corner James Bradberry. Expect Joe Flacco to feed him targets, as Crabtree goes over the century mark for the first time in a Ravens uniform.

  • The Ravens defense will corral two interceptions.

After collecting 22 interceptions in 2017, the Ravens have secured just three picks in their last six games. However, often inaccurate quarterback Cam Newton was picked off twice in his last home game against the Giants. Look for Eric Weddle and C.J. Mosley to tally their first interceptions of the season.
