The Ravens and Titans both lost last week and will be looking to stay above .500 with a win on Sunday. Tennessee currently leads the AFC South, while Baltimore is currently chasing the 4-1 Cincinnati Bengals.
While the defense continued their stifling efforts against the Browns, the Ravens offense noticeably regressed last week. Failing to reach the end zone in a 9-12 overtime loss, Joe Flacco recorded his lowest passer rating on the season (60) after posting a 109.5 rating in Week 4 against the rival Pittsburgh Steelers. Furthermore, Michael Crabtree, a headline grabbing offseason acquisition, is currently leading the league in dropped passes.
The Titans experienced similar woes against the Bills, only producing points through the uprights. Marcus Mariota threw one interception and both Dion Lewis and Taywan Taylor lost fumbles in Week 5. Tennessee's defense, much like Baltimore’s, attempted to keep their offense within striking distance, holding Josh Allen to just 82 passing yards.
Anticipate a defensive battle as both offenses try to find a rhythm and avoid consecutive losses. Baltimore Beatdown writers will provide predictions, analysis, updates and recaps leading up to and following the game.
