With a 28-7 lead at one point, the Jacksonville Jaguars were firing on all cylinders. But the Pittsburgh Steelers weren’t finished, and this game became a battle for the ages. In the end, though, the Jags held on to end the Pittsburgh Steelers run for the 52nd Lombardi trophy.
It wasn’t an easy affair for either side, as both teams scored back and forth, but Blake Bortles and the return of Leonard Fournette put up a second half to hang on with.
Time will tell if Tom Brady and Belichick can scheme against this powerhouse defense, which somehow allowed a staggering 42 points from the Roethlisberger led Steelers. Not so surprising, as they also have Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell and a plethora of other names.
Oh, and speaking of Le’Veon Bell, his comment on Twitter shall forever be memorialized. He was under the belief of a surefire victory:
I love round 2’s...we’ll have two round 2’s in back to back weeks...— Le'Veon Bell (@L_Bell26) January 14, 2018
