Ravens to break out black jerseys against Steelers

NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

The league's best jersey - and uniform combo if black pants are to match - will make a return this Sunday.

The Ravens have recognized the importance of the coming bout against the Steelers and have responded by breaking out their beloved black jerseys that have seen a lot of success. In the black jerseys, the Ravens have a record of 16-6.

The last time the Ravens wore all black against Pittsburgh was in 2014's Thanksgiving matchup, which the Ravens won 22-20, leading from start to finish. With projected temperatures in the low 20 degrees celsius, (71 degrees Fahrenheit) heat should not be an issue.

The Ravens will look to rebound after a horrid performance in London. The black jerseys and the expected fever pitch atmosphere of the familiar environment at M&T Bank stadium will give them their best chance to bounce back. I would expect the play on the field to match the occasion.
