Only a day left before the Ravens and Jaguars take the field in Wembley Stadium. Two defensive squads are looking to put the hurt on the opposition. While both bare their fangs, the Ravens offense must bite back.
Protect Joe Flacco
This offensive line has taken a beating this season. Since training camp, the Ravens have lost four interior linemen to season-ending injuries.
With the line crucially injured, it puts Joe Flacco at risk. Baltimore must scheme to protect their quarterback, involving bigger protections. Good thing the Ravens tight ends know their blocking well, and the tailbacks on the roster are capable of protecting their teammate.
Get Open
The Ravens defense has intercepted eight passes. The Ravens starting trio of receivers, Mike Wallace, Breshad Perriman, and Jeremy Maclin, have caught nine. It’s time for Wallace and Perriman to break out and help their offense. The Jaguars secondary isn’t going to make it easy though, as A.J. Bouye and Jalen Ramsey are a top-end defensive back tandem. Nonetheless, the Ravens need to get open and help get the ball out of Joe’s hands quickly. This is a good game to demonstrate mental toughness.
Protect the football
The only way the Ravens lose this game is by committing turnovers. Flacco must be sharp, though his line is in bad shape. His decision making will be vital. The runningbacks can’t faulter either. Mistake free football on the offensive side will allow the defense to play their game. Just like the past two weeks. If the defense can get the ball in enemy territory, put points on the board.
